Leads
Overview
Leads are enquiries and opportunities that result from managing and sharing a listing. Shelting centralizes leads in the Workspace so listing owners and collaborators can manage them in one place, including leads received directly through Shelting and leads collected from other platforms.
Lead Access
Any signed-in user can view listing details and enquire with the listing owner using the Connect button. An enquiry submitted through the Connect button becomes a Direct Lead for that listing.
What You Can Do
Shelting supports two ways to add leads to the centralized Workspace:
Direct Lead
A signed-in user can select Connect on a listing to enquire with the listing owner. This enquiry is handled as a Direct Lead in the listing workspace.
Manual Entry Lead
When a listing is marketed on other platforms, you can use the Lead tab to add the leads collected from those platforms. Complete the available lead form to bring that information into the centralized Workspace.
By using Direct Leads and Manual Entry Leads together, you can manage leads from Shelting and other platforms in one listing workspace.
Important Notes
Lead information is centralized for handling and managing enquiries related to the listing. The available lead stages and actions should be used according to the options shown in the Workspace.
