Seller FAQ

Overview

This page answers common questions for property sellers, direct sellers, landowners, and owners of multiple residential, commercial, or agricultural properties.

Common Questions

I am a direct property seller. How can Shelting help me?

You can create a listing in your Shelting account and share the listing information with people who may be interested in your property. Interested buyers can view the details, connect with you, discuss the property, and work toward closing a deal.

How do interested buyers contact me?

When a genuine buyer wants to learn more about your property, they can use the available connection option on your listing to contact you directly through the platform.

Can I create listings for more than one property?

Yes. If you own multiple properties or units, you can create multiple listings and manage them in your Workspace, subject to the allowance and limitations of your plan.

Can Shelting support different types of properties?

The listing workflow can support property owners who want to offer land or multiple units for sale or rent, including commercial, agricultural, and residential properties. The information available for each listing depends on the listing form.

Can I share my listings on different platforms?

You can share your listing information with multiple users and across the platforms you use to market your property. Leads collected from those different platforms can then be added to Shelting for centralized management.

How does Shelting help me manage leads?

Shelting brings direct enquiries and manually entered leads into a centralized Workspace. You can communicate with leads, maintain their information, and move them through the available stages as you work toward a sale or rental outcome.

How many listings can I manage?

The Free tier provides an allowance for managing multiple listings in the Workspace. The exact allowance and any limitations depend on the current plan details shown on the Shelting pricing page.
